**Library Technician**

Full-time replacement position

January 9, 2023 to December 8, 2023

**Description**:
Under the supervision of the Curriculum & Studies Officer, the Library Technician is responsible for providing administrative and technical support within the High School’s Learning Commons.

**What you’ll do**:

- Perform duties related to the circulation of library materials
- Organize the daily operations of the Learning Commons
- Provide information concerning general library policies, procedures, and the location of resources
- Welcome, monitor and assist students in the Learning Commons
- Support teachers in use of the Learning Commons as a resource for teaching and learning
- Maintain physical collections and facilities
- Fulfill other duties as required

**Skills, Experience and Attributes Required**:

- Diploma of Collegial Studies in Information and Library Technology or equivalent
- Two (2) years of relevant experience
- Experience in an academic library is an asset
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and integrated library systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset
