We are seeking a dynamic and motivated **Heavy Truck Sales Manager** to lead our sales team in four dealership locations. This individual will be tasked with driving business growth throughout Southern Alberta.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Recruiting and Training of Sales Staff**: Develop and deliver effective recruitment and training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
- **Customer Calls**: Build strong relationships with clients through regular on-site visits with members of the sales team.
- **Leadership**: Inspire, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- **Major Account Management**: Oversee and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- **Marketing**: Design and implement strategies that drive truck sales and enhance brand visibility.
- **Inventory Control**: Effectively invest inventory dollars to ensure availability and alignment with customer demand while meeting key metrics.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Develop processes and systems, including the Salesforce CRM, to effectively manage the department.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in sales management (10+ years preferred), preferably in heavy truck or related industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage major accounts and build lasting client relationships.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing training programs.
- Strong in systems and processes.
- Knowledge of inventory management, budgets, and marketing strategies.
- Ability to work as a strong teammate with other department heads.
