Lawn Care Technician

**Performance Lawn Care is hiring a Lawn technician/General Labor**

We are a licensed pesticide operator in the Angus area. We specialize in maintainingresidential lawns and provide a very professional and valuable service to our community. We are small but growing quickly and currently taking resumes for careers as lawn technicians and general labour for the 2023 season April-September.

We invite all experience levels and will train you for the position required.

**Requirements**:
License class G/G2

Secondary school (preferred)

Landscaping or Weed control: experience is not required but an asset
- Attention to detail - high attention to detail is a very important asset for lawn care and is the back bone of our business.
- Professionalism - must be professional and respectful on customer properties
- You will be required to walk long periods of the day. Applicant must be physically and mentally fit.
- You should know how to run basic lawn equipment and be familiar with starting and operation of small engines safely.
- Working alone - must be able to work alone and with help when needed.

**Other Assets**:

- Mechanical knowledge, equipment maintenance,
- Sales and customer service,
- Exterminator license

**Pay/Salary**:
Your pay will be hourly $18-$22 depending on experience/performance.

Monday-Friday 30-40 hrs per week.

Hours are flexible and your schedule will be set by you for the most part. You will be required to work around weather and other circumstances as needed. You will be assigned a route that needs to be completed before a deadline.

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
