**Novelty Printers** is a supplier to the advertising specialty industry, specializing in golf and hockey promotional products. Novelty is a **Promotional Product Professional of Canada Inc. (PPPC)** member, and proud member of the **Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI).** Over the past 20 years, Novelty Printers has established great relationships with all the major golf brands including Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Srixon, Bridgestone and many more.

Novelty Printers is looking for a well-organized Office Bookkeeper to handle day to day and month to month operations in a timely manner. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for payroll, accounts payable and receivable, all government remittances, purchasing inventory, creation of financial statements, creation of journal entries, and month end banking reconciliations. The Bookkeeper is responsible to ensure smooth running of the office and provides administrative assistance to the Owners, staff, and customers.

We are looking for an energetic professional who has experience with meeting multiple timelines and due dates, effective organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience with Quick Books is a must. Experience with Integrated Inventory Control and Order Management platforms considered an asset.

**Responsibilities**

Bi-Weekly payroll

Accounts receivable

Accounts payable

Knowledge with Quick Books Required

Monthly Government remittances

Bank and Credit Card balancing

Record of Employment submission (ROE’s)

Purchasing Inventory

Keep office and files clean and organized.

Setup new employees in system

**Requirements**:
Previous experience of Bookkeeping (Payroll, A/P, A/R,

Source deductions, GST remittance)

3 Years knowledge with Quick Books

Knowledge of Inventory Control and Order Management Platforms (considered an asset)

Strong organizational and planning skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with owners, employees, and customers

Honest, hardworking, and friendly
