As a Warehouse Associate at Mclaren Lighting, you are responsible for daily delivery of customer orders based on the delivery calendar. Once you complete the deliveries, you will be assembling new items for display and packing sold display fixtures for orders, therefore having some mechanical ability is an asset.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. DELIVERY DRIVER**
- Verify and deliver fixtures to customers as per delivery calendar.
- Accurately checks/verifies customer orders from generated packing slips and reports any discrepancies to management.
- All delivery orders must be pre-paid or be a charge account. Checks the paperwork for accuracy.
- When instructed, pick up the product to bring back to the store.
- Washes vehicles weekly on Saturday afternoon, including rims. Detailing inside on the last Saturday of every month.
- Fueling up the vehicles weekly on Saturday mornings.
- Responsible for the bank runs weekly or as requested.
- Fills out the pre-trip vehicle inspection checklist before operating the vehicle and informs the Team leader about any issues regarding the company vehicles in a timely manner.
- Always driving with due care and attention, abiding by all traffic laws.

**2. DISPLAY**
- Assemble and build displays for showroom, update the display spreadsheet daily.
- Keep layaway up to date with put ups and take downs.
- Keep display box piles filled in showroom.
- Work on display projects as directed from management and pack up sold fixtures when required.
- You always follow strict safety protocol ensuring a safe working zone in the showroom. This includes ladder safety and using pylons to mark your work zone. You will request help with heavy fixtures.

**3. SHOWROOM SUPPORT**
- Be on call for all display light ups, take downs, and carry outs.
- Assist sales staff with carry outs to customer vehicles.

**3. GENERAL WAREHOUSE DUTIES**
- Keep the display area clean and organized, sweep, and vacuum the display area at the end of the day.
- Use all tools in a safe manner and put them away properly.
- Always be available to help Sales staff when in the warehouse to grab from the stock or bring up the product from City call for a customer.
- Remove returned items from showroom, put defective returns in RMA area and sellable returns into stock.
- Assign any other warehouse duties assigned by the Store Manager

**WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE**

**BY 6 MONTHS**

At this point you should be fluent with our system, know how to check for stock with our Victoria location. You should be comfortable with our systems; fixture pack up should be fast and efficient yet still handled with care. You have established a good product knowledge level at this point.

**BY 12 MONTHS**

You are performing delivery driver and display tasks self sufficiently and accurately. You have proposed improvements to both processes. You can assemble fixtures efficiently and have an eye for where fixtures should be displayed in the showroom.

**QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; multitask by priority.
- Good understanding and awareness of workplace hazards, able to follow H&S instructions and procedures.
- Able to interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner.

**QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 2 years of warehouse experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic assembly and tool knowledge
- Valid BC driver’s license and a Clean Drivers Abstract.
- Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
- Positive personality and adaptable to change.

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
