**Manufacturing Maintenance Technician**

Canadian Circuits Inc. is a printed circuit board manufacturer located in Surrey, BC. Since 1993 we have been providing Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) and assemblies to multiple industries. **Position summary**:
Maintenance Technician is tasked with maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing machines, tools, equipment, and facilities integral to the manufacturing process.

**Key skills include**:

- Knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Self-starter with strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and manage all production, safety, and facilities equipment according to a maintenance schedule.
- Anticipate, prevent, and minimize equipment failure and down-time.
- Organize and oversee equipment documentation, repair manuals, and metrics.
- Guide production staff with proper equipment operation and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify inefficiencies, and suggests improvement to processes that best utilize equipment capability.
- Perform minor repairs and upgrades of facilities, including building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Engage and manage outside contractors.
- Assist in identifying company equipment needs. Inspect equipment for purchase.
- Perform any other maintenance duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of equipment maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of Printed circuit board manufacturing techniques and equipment.
- Excellent mechanical and repair skills.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds and perform physical tasks required for large equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Has a conscientious and cooperative team player attitude.
- Has ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, manuals, and follow manufacturer’s instructions.
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, day shift. Overtime may be required including starting early, staying late, and or working weekends.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident.

Compensation: depends on experience and skill set.
