**Contract position - 18 to 20 months**
- Salary from $65000 - $75000 per year.

**How You'll Perform the Role**
The Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day H&S reporting, safety initiatives and other safety related duties to Plant Management of ~100+ employees at the Orangeville facility.
- Coordinates and maintains training and training records
- Input all incident tracking for Close Calls, First Aid and Recordable injuries
- Leads investigations for Close Calls, First Aid and Recordable injuries, including follow-up with all corrective actions
- Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly inspections
- Assists in H&S audits
- Participate in daily GEMBA walks
- Regular review and maintenance of H&S Program policies and procedures
- Serves as a Worker rep chair of the Safety Committee
- Compiles and reports Environmental, Health and Safety data.
- Ensure the completion of all Novolex EHS regulation compliance tasks and projects.
- All other tasks and duties, as assigned

**What We Need From You**
- Certificate in Health and Safety, or a combination of education and 3-5 years of work-related experience required.
- Minimum of one year experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Must have reading, math, written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent in English - speaking, writing
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, organization skills and is able to multi-task
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
