Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, the Production Scheduler is responsible for the day-to-day production scheduling for JCMI manufacturing.

**Essential Duties**:

- Plan and control all scheduling activities supporting JCMI Machine Build Schedule and Master Production Schedule. Balance production with demand to support targets consistent with our aftermarket service levels, inventory turn goals and capacity utilization.
- Develop detailed production schedules for the pre-assembly of component items and assembly of finished goods based on equipment, labour and raw material availability.
- Communicate with internal departments to mitigate raw material shortages, production disruption and ensure on time customer order shipments.
- Use Capacity Planning tools to determine if production will be constrained in future periods, load level production plan and identify potential corrective actions such as working overtime, adding equipment, or expediting.
- Daily reconcile and close completed job orders to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Provide job order support for Outside Service Operations and Shop Floor employees when necessary.
- Participate in Month End tasks and Annual Physical Inventory count.
- Participate and present in daily/weekly Senior Management meetings.
- Provide quick responses to production issues, sales inquiries, and customer concerns.
- Responsible for replenishing and maintaining intra-company transfer orders among four distribution centers.
- Responsible for issuing and completing Rework Job Orders.
- Coordinate Engineer Change Notifications (ECN) among various departments.
- Participate and support continuous improvement activities and initiatives.

- Proficiency with ERP software (Infor CloudSuite an asset) and MS Excel.

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production scheduling preferably in a job shop manufacturing facility.
- College Diploma or bachelor’s degree - Supply Chain and Operations Management would be preferred.
- APICS certification or similar courses would be an asset.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
