Concrete Labourers and Finishers

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Labourers and Concrete Finishers to join our team. As a Concrete Labourer/Finisher, you will be responsible for working on various construction projects, setting up job sites, ensuring the proper finishing of concrete surfaces and working with form work. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various hand tools and heavy equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Setting up different projects
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing
- Set up forms and ensure they are properly aligned
- Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly
- Use hand tools to smooth and finish surfaces
- Operate heavy equipment such as power trowels or screeds
- Repair or renovate existing concrete structures as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion

**Skills**:

- Basic carpentry skills preferred
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials
- Experience with setting up dura forms would be an asset
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and edgers
- Ability to operate heavy equipment would be considered an asset
- Capable of performing heavy lifting and physical labour is a must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Georgetown, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Concrete finishing: 1 year (preferred)
- Concrete forming: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
