We are currently seeking a self-motivated **Global Payroll Business Systems Lead** to fill a position that will be based in our **Mississauga, Ontario** office. This position is a full-time role and hours of work will be 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

The Global Drilling Services division operates for a diverse mining customer base with drilling methods including diamond coring exploration, reverse circulation, large diameter rotary, mine dewatering, water supply drilling, pump services, production, and sonic drilling services.

The Geological Data Services division utilizes innovative scanning technology and down-hole instrumentation tools to capture detailed geological data from drilled core and chip samples. This valuable orebody knowledge gives mining companies the ability to make timely decisions for more efficient exploration activities.

The Global Products division offers sophisticated research and development and holds hundreds of patented designs to manufacture, market, and service reliable drill rigs, innovative drill string products, rugged performance tooling, durable drilling consumables, and quality parts for customers worldwide.

**Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)**:
**Key duties include**:

- Lead business process evaluations, requirements gathering, and facilitate project meetings.
- Deliver on assigned tasks in all project phases from initiation, planning, analysis, design, build, test, train, deploy and stabilization.
- Develop project management deliverables such as business requirements, project charter, scope, change management plan and training plan.
- Design programs to meet specific business needs including proof of concept, test scenarios and documentation.
- Participate in all aspects of system testing including development of test strategy documentation, write test scripts, coordinate testing resources, compile test completion metrics, and test script execution (including stress tests and user acceptance testing).
- Coordinate and provide inputs to the technical team, and work with managed services and offshore support team to support development and sustainment of Oracle Applications, and aid in bringing the best practice solutions.
- Building the capacity of the business owners to problem solving, analyze the issue, document the issue and resolve the issue.
- Creating, maintaining and monitoring issues and change requests.
- Other duties as needed

**Required Skills**:Experience working with Oracle Time and Labor Systems**
- Experience working on Global Payroll systems and providers like ADP, Ceridian, PaySpace etc.
- Strong knowledge of ‘Hire to Retire (H2R)’ processes.
- Experience in Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, CWB, OAB, Leave Management, Self-Service etc.).
- Experience with Core HR functions and systems like Performance Management, On-Boarding, Succession Planning, Benefits Management & Compensation Planning.
- Must have knowledge of Oracle HCM product technical architecture.
- Knowledge of cross-track modules and Oracle HCM integration with Oracle Project Accounting, EAM and Financials is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Oracle AIM and OUM methodologies.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, AME experience.
- Experience in training end-users.
- Strong analytical, design, presentation, documentation and reporting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
- Demonstrated experience working in an aggressive, fast paced and highly energetic environment.
- Ability to determine root cause of complex problems and working towards for a quicker resolution.
- Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple and changing priorities.
