**Who we are**:
The Annapolis Cider Company was founded in 2016 with the goal of creating ciders that are genuine expressions of Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley. We are a locally-owned business that has grown to become one of Canada’s leading premium cider brands, and have achieved this by working together with local fruit growers to obtain the highest-quality fruit grown in the Annapolis Valley.

We are committed to a philosophy of mínimal intervention and the practice of long, cool fermentations of unique cider and heritage apple varieties. Each year, we welcome over 50,000 visitors to our cidery in Wolfville, where we offer tastings and cellar tours.

**Required Competencies**:

- Willing to work 35-40 hours per week, and have a flexible schedule that may include weekends
- Must be motivated, have strong work ethic and a desire to learn and contribute to the Annapolis Cider Company team, and their commitment to excellence
- Must demonstrate a high regard for quality, attention to detail and organizational skills. Good comfort level with technology, and be organized with inventory management systems
- Be prepared to exhibit problem solving skills, sometimes work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- A strong desire to build relationships, work effectively with colleagues, and to communicate in clear and effective ways.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs+ above head, reaching high, bending and crouching, climbing ladders
- Comfortable working around loud noises
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Must hold a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record
- Drive company truck to transport totes, pallets, etc
- Clean totes, tanks, cellar and equipment according to company SOP's.
- Filter cider, filter cleaning and maintenance
- Assist with the production, bottling and movement of cider, juice and fruit
- Hand bombing, filling and cleaning kegs
- Any accessory cellar tasks, such as cleaning the floor, drains, tank exteriors, and keeping a tidy workplace
- Follow all company SOP's guidelines to ensure quality and stability of product
- Provide regular feedback to management, and communicate and collaborate with co-workers in productive and healthy ways

**Compensation**:

- Depending on experience, starting wage will be between $18 - $20 / hour
- After 3 month probationary period, company health and dental benefits
- Participation in company bottle rewards

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
