**About us**

**Requirements for role**:

- comfortable working alone and in a team
- follows instructions well, both written and verbal
- willing to work with hand tools and small power tools
- interest in organic and regenerative farming practices
- ability to lift up to 25kg and sometimes work in awkward positions
- harvest and examine produce and prepare for market
- identify disease and other crop issues and communicate problems
- able to work around bees
- embrace working outdoors even in inclement weather

**What we will teach within our system**:

- Compost management
- Regenerative growing practices such as compost extracts, biochar and vermicompost
- Methods for weed and pest control
- Seeding techniques for market farming
- Application of soil amendments and fertilization
- Pruning and specific crop management
- Microgreen management
- Soil maintenance
- Small scale irrigation
- Crop planning for Market Farm Season extension

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 - 40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
