Fusion Cabling is a Winnipeg based specialty low voltage company that strives in quality workmanship and excellent customer service towards our commercial clients.

We are looking for a motivated individual with mínimal experience to join the team as an apprentice low voltage installation and service technician. Knowledge installing cabling and devices for data, voice, fibre, telecommunications, wireless, video, audio, surveillance and security is preferred. Looking for someone who has strong analytical abilities to detect and resolve problems, customer service skills and is physically capable to perform duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 5 driver licence and a reliable vehicle to attend job sites
- Clear criminal record check & Drivers abstract
- Must work well individually or in a team; including other trades/contractors
- Ability to work evenings, weekends or out of town occasionally
- Typically Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30
- Experience with installing and troubleshooting data cabling and devices in a commercial environment - preferred
- Strong communication skills, verbally and written
- Ability to distinguish between colors mandatory*
- Able to manage a physically demanding workload when required which includes;
lifting upwards of 50+ lb, climbing ladders, working at heights
- Able to meet deadlines, punctual
- Commitment to a high standard of work quality
- Must follow safe work practices, and abide by all safety rules/regulations
- A cell phone and basic hand tools are required for the position, specialty tools will be provided.
- Wage will be determined based on experience and abilities
