**Summary**:
This position is responsible for improving DC inbound flow for the benefits of DC operations efficiency by implementing Metro’s supplier delivery compliance policy. The responsibilities include 1) Helping vendors understand Metro’s expectations on product delivery to DCs (Distribution Centers); 2) Ensuring the delivery compliance policy is followed; 3) Proactively working with vendors to avoid potential non-compliant issues; 4) Getting alignments with DCs, Central Procurement, Replenishment, Merchandise, and Transportation on actions required to address vendor non-compliant issues; 5) Coordinating with Metro Quebec and Jean Coutu Group (two other divisions) on inbound flow related concerns that have companywide impacts.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Develop execution plan for Metro’s supplier delivery compliance policy for Metro Ontario;
- Set up efficient process for policy implementation;
- Provide training to supervisors/receivers for proper non-compliance issue information collection;
- Review and approve vendor non-compliant issues submitted by supervisors or receivers;
- Effectively address concerns/questions from vendors, help reduce non-compliance issues while maintain a healthy relationship with vendors;
- Work with DCs, Central Procurement, Replenishment, Merchandise, and Transportation for continuous inbound flow improvement;
- Coordinate with counterparts in Metro Quebec and Jean Coutu Group for policy implementation, maintenance and updates, and actions that have companywide impact;
- Upgrade the supplier delivery compliance policy as our business need evolves;
- Work on/lead ad hoc projects that may relate to inbound flow and DC operations efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in supply chain, business administration or other related fields;
- At least 2 years of experience in Retailer DC or related vendor compliance management;
- At least 3 years of working experience in logistics, retail industry is preferred;
- Strong business sense to develop and improve operations process that fundamentally benefits Metro and its vendors;
- Leadership in getting people on board and driving for changes;
- Experience in developing and maintaining a fair and firm relationship with vendors;
- Proficient in excel and power point;
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset;
- Some travel will be required (Ontario and Quebec)
