Canadian Tire View Royal (1519 Admirals Road) has opportunities for retail associates in our Auto Parts department This position is responsible for helping customers both in person and over the telephone using a computerized auto parts look-up system to help them find the right part.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Directing or guiding customers to the location of requested items
- Assisting customers with inquiries over the phone and in person
- Sourcing and ordering automotive parts for customers
- Processing returns, warranties and castings as required
- Filling and merchandising display areas
- Assisting customers in our Service Centre
- Other tasks and responsibilities, as required

**Position Requirements**:

- Previous Customer Service experience
- Previous automotive experience/interest in automotive industry
- Keyboard and computer proficiency
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as required

**Physical Demands & Working Conditions**
- Standing/walking for 8 hours.
- Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise item may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy”.
- Lifting and turning repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Lifting above the shoulder, from floor to shoulder and floor to waist.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
