Litigation Lawyer

**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
- Knowledge and experience in a broad range of civil and commercial legal matters, including commercial contracts, joint ventures, international sales and trade, Canadian corporate and securities law, and corporate finance;
- Handle all aspects of civil litigation at the Superior Court of Ontario, Small Claims Court, and various tribunals, monitor and keep track of trigger dates
- Stay abreast of industry standards and through participation in professional workshops, practicing communities & individual learning
- Superior social and interpersonal skills capable of cordial interactions with staff and lawyers, and respectful interactions with clients, opposing counsel, courts and tribunals;
- Ability to provide a variety of legal opinions, including risk/benefits analysis, based on information provided to assist in higher-level decision making;
- Ability to meet a deadline and who will demonstrate organizational ability in the maintenance with us of our Litigation File List.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, research and writing skills
- Ability to handle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize & work under pressure
- Self-motivated whether working independently or in a team environment
- Strong business judgement coupled with the ability to build client relationships
- Excellent and flexible team player
- Organized and possess excellent time management skills
**Salary**: $58,114.79-$175,619.79 per year
