**How you’ll contribute**

As our **Heavy Equipment Service Administrator**, you will be in a **front-line **role assessing our incoming **Heavy Equipment** fleet and ensuring returned equipment is properly input into the system for timely service. Reporting to the General Manager, you will support day-to-day operations and will be resource for both mechanics and supervisors by:

- Monitoring and inputting incoming returned equipment into the system within 30 minutes of arrival at the facility, allowing for speedy service/repairs.
- Initiating equipment returns process by assessing physical state of the equipment, capturing pictures, and uploading them to the inventory system, recording details of client gas usage, replenishing gas levels, and moving and parking equipment safely in the yard area.
- Ensuring all equipment is entered into our system with the correct statuses completed and opening customer damage work orders when physical damage is present.
- Monitoring the yard with daily walks to confirm no returned equipment has been missed for check-ins.
- Assisting with dispatching hard-down equipment to and from outsourced repair vendors, ensuring status codes are maintained, and following up with outsource vendors on machine repair status when needed.
- Staging all equipment with appropriate paperwork due for rent for the next day.
- Closing out completed work orders, and confirming all inventory is correct by weekly reporting.
- Ensuring the Parts room is supported when the Parts Manager or Admin team is not present.
- Keeping open communication and working with OFG/ProDesk to ensure maximum order fulfillment, providing frequent updates.
- Recognizing and helping remedy safety hazards immediately on any returned equipment.
- Completing all work orders and maintaining inventory documents to preserve the integrity of our Rental Management system.
- Reporting any workplace hazards and helps to eliminate them to ensure a safe work environment.
- Adhering to and promoting our Company Safety Policies, including wearing required PPE.
- Completing other duties as assigned.

**What we’re looking for**
- High School Diploma is required. Post Secondary education is an asset.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Heavy Equipment, or Construction Rental Industry.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Valid G Driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Valid third-party Counterbalance license.
- Working from Heights and Fall Arrest certification are a strong asset.
- Comfortable with daily operation of equipment, frequently moving between shop and yard settings, and lifting up to 50lbs as required.
