What you will do:
Reporting to the Director of Support Services, the Program Manager - Tenant Services, is responsible for providing leadership and support in a range of management and supervisory related activities associated with Tenant Service Coordinators (TSC) and Indigenous Cultural Care Providers (ICCP) that are part of a larger social services team of health, education and community professionals that work in partnership to help tenants in Manitoba Housing enhance their quality of life. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic.
TSCs assist tenants by meeting with them in person and on the phone, hearing their stories, assessing their needs, providing counselling, and connecting them with resources. Oftentimes, tenants may be experiencing physical, emotional and/or mental health issues, and have other stressors affecting their day. This can make for challenging situations, but there is also reward in helping tenants move forward in their lives and sustaining their tenancy. Indigenous Cultural Care Providers provide opportunities for both tenants and staff to gain knowledge and understanding of Indigenous traditions, teachings and ceremonies for the purpose of promoting positive healthy change. The role also provides individual and group counselling to tenants with a better understanding and appreciation of Indigenous traditional values, beliefs and heritage.
Tenant Services works with other government departments, health and community resources in coordinating integrated services that strive to find the right solutions for participants and their families.

- You have leadership skills and can guide staff in the delivery of social services which support tenants and their families.
- You work with co-workers and community to better meet the needs of tenants. You are also adaptable to changes in workload, policies and procedures.
- You are comfortable with technology, using multiple computer and business programs.

Qualifications:
**Essential**:
- Post-secondary degree in Social Sciences (BSW Preferred). Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Leadership experience in a social service delivery environment that includes managing program, service delivery to clients, as the planning and evaluation of services deliver to clients.
- Case management experience in a social service setting working with a multi-disciplinary team to support the needs of individuals.
