About this Opportunity

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Warehouse Order Picker (Overnights) for our distribution center in Brockville, ON GTW can offer paid material handling equipment training, full medical/dental benefits, and a store discount.

Giant Tiger Wholesale - We can offer:
- Starting wage of $18.90/hour- Additional $2/hour for hours worked 9:00pm - 6:00am- Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours and annually after that- Giant Tiger Store Discount - 20% on clothing, 10% on grocery- Full medical/dental benefits at 3 months- Weekly summer barbeques and staff events all year;- Paid voluntary overtime at 44 hours;- Committed Health & Safety Culture from day one

Warehouse Order Picker, Overnights, Job Highlights:

- Pick store orders focusing on accuracy;
- Pile various size boxes onto skids, ensuring neat, safe, and secure piles;
- Lift boxes with a weight range of 1 - 50 pounds;
- Operate an electric pallet truck capable of pulling 2 skids at a time. Identify picked skids with outbound license plate numbers (OLPNs) provided with the order;
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and comply with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards;
- Various warehouse duties, as prescribed by the supervisor.

Warehouse Order Picker, Overnights, Job Requirements:

- Experience as an Order Picker or a similar position is an asset;
- Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time;
- Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment, as low as -18 Celsius, for extended periods.

Warehouse Order Picker, Overnights, Job Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday 11:30pm - 8:00 am
- _This schedule receives an overnight premium of $2.00 per hour_
