We are presently staffing for **Full-time Advanced Care Paramedic/Emergency Response Team Members** to work at our industrial client site in **Redwater, AB.** The role will involve providing both fire rescue and medical emergency response at an industrial plant.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performs the emergency and non-emergency activities of their assigned Emergency Response Team.
- Maintains standards of practice consistent with the governing regulatory body
- Operates within the boundaries of his or her practice permit
- Assists with the development of site-specific emergency response plans and procedures to ensure a coordinated and effective response to all emergencies across the Pembina Redwater site.
- Performs inspection, testing, maintenance, and inventory of medical, fire protection, and life safety equipment and systems, along with all client assets under the stewardship of Intl. SOS.
- Participates in meetings as assigned by the ERT Lead and the Pembina Emergency Response Specialist.
- Participates in training programs for ERT members and site Auxiliary Fire Teams.
- Reports administratively to the Intl.SOS ERT Lead
- Reports functionally to the Intl.SOS Medical Services Director.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- NFPA 1081 Facility Fire Brigade Member - Advanced Exterior Level or; NFPA 1001 Fire Fighter Level II
- NFPA 472 (or 1072) Hazardous Materials Response - Operations Level
- NFPA 1002 Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator
- NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue Operations Level
- H2S Alive
- Advanced Care Paramedic License (Alberta)
- Detection and Control of Flammable Substances (or equivalent)
- High Vapour Pressure product firefighting and control experience, including ethane, propane, butane, and ethylene experience
- Experience in hydrocarbon firefighting
- Class 3/4 driver's license with Q endorsement (or higher)

**Salary**: $750.00 per day
