Autocad Drafter

Working full time at our White Rock location, the Intermediate Drafting Technician is experienced in supporting the Design Team Lead by producing quality drawings in an expedient manner. They will also support the team lead by having excellent communication skills and by being a continual learner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creation of Telecommunication Engineering drawings, Utility conduit permit drawings, and pole/ conduit relocation designs using Autocad as directed by design prime.

checking his or her own work for accuracy and being able to problem solve.

Assisting with calculations as requested to support Pole line permit or Development Permit data.

Able to problem solve.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

- A diploma related to Autocad or basic knowledge of Autocad in any specialty. (Civil is an asset)
- Technical knowledge of fiber optics is an asset
- Proficient drafting with AutoCAD software.
- Proficiency with X-refs, Blocks, and Dynamic Blocks.
- Proven track record of achieving goals in a deadline-based industry and regularly shows the ability to seek out and find solutions to problems as they come up while maintaining overall control.
- Must be able to see a project through to completion.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
