Wideformat Printing Press Operator

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Wideformat Printing Press Operator to join our team. The Press Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our HP Printers to ensure the efficient production of high-quality printing of signs, banners, decals, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use our computer Management System to review customer order specs and print items (signs, banners, decals, etc.) accordingly
- Prepare print files for production, ensuring accuracy as per order specifications
- Follow and complete all job specs as per the work order
- Ensure quality of print items are met or exceeded before sending to next department
- Troubleshoot printer and/or print quality issues
- Perform preventative Maintenance on the wideformat printers as required
- Assist in Bindery and Finishing Department as needed - cutting, scoring, perfing, grommets, packaging, etc.

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and be able to prioritize jobs are required
- Work independently, as well as, be a team player to ensure smooth workflow to deliver projects on time
- Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience operating large format printers is a benefit

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)
