Concord, Canada Revitasize Commissary Inc. Full time

Revitasize is excited to be hiring a **Full-Time/ Part-Time Cook & Prep staff member** in our fast-paced VEGAN production facility.

This role requires a **minimum 1 year experience**, working in a fast-paced food production facility/environment.

**Location: 10 Planchet Road, Unit 27 (Keele & Langstaff - Production Facility)**

**Employment**:Full-Time**

**Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY (6am - 3pm) **Hours may vary

**Classification**: Hourly (30-40 hours per week)

**Day in the Life of a Kitchen Production Team Member**:
This is very much a technician's job requiring stamina & a solid work ethic. Must be able to follow a recipe without supervision. Must be CONFIDENT in the kitchen, able to follow instructions, communicate with team & work efficiently. Quality & consistency is everything. There's room to grow if you're looking for a place to plant roots.

**Kitchen Staff Duties**:

- Prep, measure and mix ingredients following recipes
- Baking, soup production, building salads & general food production
- Packing & organizing finished products
- Wash & sanitize tables & equipment during production & at the end of the day
- Keep working station clean and sanitized
- Perform light maintenance on food equipment

**Kitchen Staff Requirements**:

- Must have **minimum 1 year commercial kitchen experience & good knife skills.**:

- Must be able to work a **minimum of 5 days per week (Monday -Friday)**.
- Must be reliable, dependable, responsible, organized, quick efficient & not afraid of washing dishes (FLEXIBILITY IN KITCHEN DUTIES).
- Must be a team player & also a self-starter who can work with minimum supervision.
- Must be able to work on your feet for long hours & lift/carry bags, boxes of produce.
- Must be good-natured & have a good work ethic.
