Responsibilities:

- Receive and analyze incoming orders for transportation services
- Enter data into transportation management systems accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with drivers and carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status and address any concerns or inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to shipments
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics operations and improve customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

- Previous 2 - 5 experience in a dispatching role or similar position preferred
- Proficient in data entry and analysis
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of AS400, SyteLine, or other transportation management systems is a plus
- Understanding of freight, shipping, and receiving processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
