Dog Groomer

Good Hound is an established R+, Fear Free Training and Daycare facility who recently moved into a much larger space in the popular Ladner Village. In our new space we are wanting to help fill the much-needed demand of grooming We are currently in the process of finishing our grooming area and are now in search of an experienced and caring groomer to join our team. The right person will be dedicated to gentle techniques, positive reinforcement training, and excellent customer service. We are also looking for someone to work together with us to develop a solid grooming program. We are not looking for a lone wolf Everyone in Good Hound works together to create the best experience for all the dogs in our care. Open communication and integrity is highly valued. We are wanting someone who is confident with both small and large dogs. - Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and haircuts according to client specifications
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other necessary grooming services
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming services
- Keep accurate records of pet information, grooming services performed, and any special instructions from clients

- At least 2 years of grooming experience
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and patience
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
