We are looking for a driven employee who thrives in a safe, fast paced work environment with tight deadlines. At Wallace, we wouldn't be able to achieve our high standard of customer service without honest, highly motivated team players.

Reporting to the Asset Manager, the Shop Clerk will be responsible for providing in-house service as a team member of the Maintenance Department. Will keep the shop clean and well-organized. Will work to meet the installer's needs and respond to their inquiries in a professional manner. The Shop Clerk contributes to the Maintenance Department's overall goals by promoting productivity and staying up-to-date with tools, supplies, and the knowledge required to deliver accurate and useful supplies and tools to our installers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet installers and ascertain what each employee wants or needs to fulfill their duties, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Organize and track tooling related to W2 activities.
- Keep the tool crib clean and tidy, this includes restocking items, checking inventory levels, and organizing the merchandise.
- Provide excellent employee service, resolving any complaints and requests in a professional manner.
- Assistant to the Fleet Coordinator.
- Respond to Shop Foreman and mechanics.
- Perform deliveries.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Previous experience in inventory control, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, and roll responsibilities.
- Able to maintain a mature positive attitude in response to a rapidly changing roles and priorities.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate well in English writing and speaking.
- Ability to follow and give direction.
- Must be a team player.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
