**Position Title**: Visitor Information Counsellor Term Position
**Effective Dates**: May 1, 2023 - August 31, 2023
The role of a Visitor Information Counsellor is to maximize the economic benefits of tourism by promoting tourism products and services. Reporting to the Chamber of
Commerce Executive Director, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of travel information to visitors that use the Visitor Information Centre services and all duties associated with the operation of the Visitor Information Centre.
**Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of social media tools. In addition good organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Duties include some lifting, moving of boxes and other physical requirements. A valid driver’s license is an asset but not required.**
