**We are currently seeking a Dining Cook to assist in the preparation of meals for ONE CARE programs. This is a great opportunity for individual's seeking weekday only kitchen prep work.**

**SUMARY**:
The Dining Cook provides food services for meal and special events as directed and ensures that equipment and food service areas are maintained. The Dining Cook assists the head cook in the delivery of the food service programs and provides support to the coordination of the dining and Meals on Wheels Programs in Huron County.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Certificate in Safe Food Handling
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Physical ability to manage the requirements; heavy lifting, working in heat and humidity.
- 1-2 years’ experience cooking for groups.
- Current driver’s license, insurance coverage and available transportation.
- Working knowledge of special dietary needs including but not limited to: diabetic, low-salt, low-fat, Celiac, puree.
- Ability to speak French is an asset.
