In-Person EAP Counselling

TELUS Health is looking to expand our EAP (Employee Assistance Program) affiliate network in Ontario and invite experienced and qualified mental health professionals to join us as independent contractors.

As an EAP Provider you will have the opportunity to provide counselling services to employees and their families as part of our comprehensive EAP program directly from your private practice.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential counseling services to employees and their families through individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.-
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.-
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Solution Focused Therapy, to help clients set goals, identify strengths, and develop practical solutions.-
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized action plans and referrals to community resources.-
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and enhancing their overall well-being.-
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.-
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client care.**Requirements**:
- Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.-
- Minimum of 5 years of post-masters clinical experience supporting clients in a therapeutic setting.-
- Certification or training in Solution Focused Therapy.-
- Previous experience supporting clients in a limited number of sessions with various presenting concerns, including mental health, addictions, work related stress, etc..-
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity.-
- Familiarity with EAP programs and services.-
- Additional certifications or training in other evidence-based therapies.-
- Flexible to learn new counselling software and case management systems.-
- Valid professional liability insurance.-
