Production Planner

**About the Job**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage production plans to meet forecasted demand and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts.
- Monitor production performance and make adjustments as necessary to address any deviations from the plan.
- Lead the demand forecasting process, including data analysis, trend identification, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
- Utilize statistical methods and historical data to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Ensure forecast accuracy and adjust plans based on changes in market conditions, customer requirements, and other relevant factors.
- Lead the implementation of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to improve production planning and demand forecasting processes. Provide training and support to users on ERP system functionality and best practices.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and demand planning.
- Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on production and demand planning performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy in production and demand planning.
- Develop and enforce best practices and standard operating procedures for planning processes.
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for production and demand planning objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams to achieve common goals.
- Ensure that production and planning processes comply with industry standards and company policies.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Extensive experience (3+ years) in production planning and demand forecasting.
- Proven experience with ERP system implementation and management (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Working Conditions**:
