Dispatch/receptionist

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated dispatcher/receptionist for our company. G & L Stevenson Transport Ltd is a family run school bus transportation business for over 55 years. We service the local school boards with student transportation.

**Your responsibilities may entail the following duties and more**:

- Job Responsibilities_
- Answering phone calls from staff, parents, and schools
- Contacting drivers, schools and parents
- Updating Website information
- Filing documents and creating PDFs
- Scheduling for school charter trips
- Calculating costs
- Scheduling for staff
- Helping dispatch buses when issues arise
- Other duties as required
- Skills and Abilities_
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with Mac computers would be an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Handle sensitive information in a private and confidential manner
- Familiar with the area roads and locations of schools
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Good interpersonal skills on the phone, in person and the ability to converse with clients and staff in a professional manner
- Work positively and effectively in a busy environment
- Monday through Friday
- Hours starting at Noon to 6PM
- July and August hours are shorter
- Time off at Christmas, March Break and in the summer, other time can be discussed.

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
