Over 80 physicians and specialists, alongside a broad roster of complementary health care disciplines, provide health and lifestyle management services on site and by video consult for individuals, families and organizations. Our team of 700+ staff see clients virtually and physically from our downtown Toronto and Oakville clinics.
The Role:
The Accountabilities:
The Manger of Digital Products & Innovation is accountable for driving our digital product strategy. You’ll be responsible for enhancing and innovating our existing client portal as well as working on Medcan’s first mobile app. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Own the end-to-end digital customer experience.
- Partner with business teams to design an updated digital product roadmap.
- Partner with technical design and build teams to manage release schedules.
- Conduct user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers, and research teams throughout the process.
- Monitor and analyze utilization and make data-driven decisions to improve digital experience.
- Keep an eye on emerging technologies and trends in digital experience design.
- Develop a product roadmap and manage a prioritized product backlog.
- Actively seek customer feedback to validate behaviors and analytics and to inform product direction.
- Active participant in scrum ceremonies such as refinement, story pointing, sprint planning and demos.
- Define and implement a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) balancing between the digital strategy, execution of new features, and continuous optimization.
- Bring ideas from conception all the way through to reality through good product management and software development lifecycle practices.
- Be accountable for driving key metrics forward for the growth and sales outcome.
- Manage multiple, and sometimes conflicting, timelines.
The Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in a digital product management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field
- A deep understanding of building exceptional digital user experiences and a keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams toward a shared vision.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans.
- Experience in the Canadian healthcare landscape
- Passion for innovation, adaptability to change, and a natural inclination towards embracing challenges.
- Experience managing design and building teams (internal and vendor).
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Notion.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a hybrid work environment with 2 days/week in the office in downtown Toronto. This role reports to the Director, Digital Transformation & Innovation.
