IT Director

Alteo is looking for an IT Director for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Your primary role will be to manage the operation and delivery of IT services. You will report to the Senior Director, Technologies, and manage three department heads in charge of IT infrastructure and operations, software development, and business intelligence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan IT infrastructure upgrades to guarantee the required level of service and security, ensuring compliance with organizational policies
- Manage and monitor contractual agreements and budgets, including investments, approvals and purchasing follow-up
- Ensure the quality of solutions and delivery of services within budgets and deadlines
- Plan the evolution, design and delivery of data analysis environments
- Set up and monitor quality and performance indicators to guarantee service levels and identify improvement actions
- Organize the IT Infrastructure and Operations Department to meet the global strategy by delivering and operating IT solutions in line with the enterprise architecture plan and project office governance
- Manage guidelines and standards associated with technological assets (replacements, obsolescence, standardization, etc.)
- Prepare and write the strategic and tactical plan for the IT Infrastructure and Operations Department and its Services
- Develop action plans and determine how to use resources to achieve business objectives, taking into account the dynamics between the various sectors of the organization and trends in its field of activity
- Plan, control and evaluate branch operations in line with the strategy of the Technology Division
- Build a strong team by attracting key talent, fostering their development and ensuring succession planning
- Manage, mobilize and maximize the work of team members
- Plan, develop and manage the budget of his/her department, and participate in the development and management of the budget of the Direction principale, technologies
- Implement and promote performance improvement initiatives for the IT Infrastructure and Operations Division
- Effectively manage multiple projects and files

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
- 10+ years IT experience
- 3+ years' experience in team management
- IT generalist, with a good understanding of IT infrastructure and operations, software development and business intelligence
- Management experience in a unionized organization (asset)
- Demonstrate flexible and benevolent leadership, and know how to empower team members
- Open to change and able to foster it by integrating it into day-to-day work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Alteo est à la recherche d'un Directeur TI pour un emploi permanent basé à Montréal.

Votre rôle principal sera de gérer l’exploitation et la livraison des services TI. Vous relèverez du Directeur principal technologies, et gèrerez trois chefs de service en charge de l'infrastructure et exploitation TI, du développement logiciel, et de l’intelligence d’affaires.

Responsabilités:

- Planifier les évolutions de l’infrastructure TI pour garantir le niveau de service et de sécurité requis en s’assurant d’être conformes aux politiques de l’organisation
- Gérer et suivre les ententes contractuelles et les budgets notamment les investissements, les approbations et le suivi des achats
- S’assurer de la qualité des solutions et de la livraison des services dans le respect des budgets et des échéanciers
- Planifier les évolutions, la conception et la livraison des environnements d’analyse de données
- Mettre en place et effectuer le suivi des indicateurs de qualité et de performance permettant de garantir le niveau de service et d’identifier les actions d’amélioration
- Organiser la Direction, infrastructure et exploitation TI afin de répondre à la stratégie globale en livrant et exploitant les solutions informatiques découlant du plan d’architecture d’entreprise et selon la gouvernance du bureau de projets
- Gérer les directives et standards associés aux actifs technologiques (remplacements, désuétudes, normalisation, etc.)
- Préparer et rédiger le plan stratégique et tactique de la Direction, infrastructure et exploitation TI et de ses Services
- Développer des plans d'action et déterminer la façon d'utiliser les ressources pour atteindre les objectifs d'affaires en considérant la dynamique entre les différents secteurs de l’organisation et les tendances de son domaine d’activité
- Planifier, contrôler et évaluer les opérations de sa Direction en lien avec la stratégie de la Direction principale, technologies
- Bâtir une équipe forte en attirant les talents clés, en favorisant leur développement et assurer une relève
- Gérer, mobiliser et maximiser le travail des membres de son équipe
- Planifier, élaborer et gérer le budget de sa Direction, et participer à l’élaboration et la gestion du budget de la Direct
