**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Clinical Diet Aide will distribute, collect, accurately prepare and update patient menus. The incumbent will compile information from the menus for food production and tray line patient service and tally production counts. Clinical Diet Aides use the MediTech system. At times, the incumbent will check beltline trays for accuracy with diets. Other job related duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12
- One (1) year Business or Secretarial Program or a nutrition degree or a student working on their nutrition degree or a degree
- One (1) year clerical experience
- Basic Serv Safe
- Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic diet menus
- Accurate keyboarding skills with demonstrated knowledge of Windows.
- Demonstrated Mathematical ability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with the health care team and maintain good relationships with patients/residents, families and supervisor
- Ability to deal with flexible workload and frequent interruptions
- Demonstrated physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Good attendance and work record.
