**Affinity Health (AH)** is a rapidly growing health care service Company that specializes in providing in-home care supporting seniors in living independent lives, as well as staff replacement services in Long Term Care, Retirement homes and Daycares. **Core Function**:

- Responsible for the delivery of meals, portioning and serving dessert, dishwashing, cleaning and sanitizing of cooking equipment, pots, pan and small dishware as well as general and special cleaning in the kitchen in accordance with government and organization policies and standards

**Qualifications**:

- Current student enrolled in an educational program recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
- Current Food Handler Safety Certificate
- Some experience in food services industry
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
- Ability to communicate in Chinese or a South Asian language an asset
- Relevant satisfactory work performance
- Valid 2 step TB, complete Covid Vaccination series. Clear Vulnerable sector check

**Working Condition**:

- Considerable standing, walking and lifting throughout the day
- Exposure to all resident care elements through occasional resident contact
- Shift work, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
- Exposed to noise, high temperature and moisture while working in the dish room and pot washing area

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain the restaurant's equipment and facilities.
- Set up tables and chairs for customers.
- Greet customers and take orders.
- Prepare food items according to customer orders.
- Deliver food items to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Assist in restocking items as needed.

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- or less Food industry: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (required)
- Valid 2 step TB with in last 12 months (required)
- 2 Covid Vaccination (required)
- Vulnerable sector check with in last 12 months (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
