**Nos attentes**

Sous la supervision du Directeur de Catégorie, le Chef de catégorie est responsable de la gestion du portefeuille stratégique de produits pour l’ensemble des bannières, pour la catégorie assignée. Cela implique la sélection des fournisseurs, des produits en plus de la négociation stratégique. Agit comme spécialiste de produits dans ses catégories et a le mandat de supporter les unités d’affaires dans l’atteinte des objectifs communs de l’entreprise.

**Le rôle**
- Gérer la stratégie des unités d’affaires au travers des catégories, incluant la sélection de fournisseurs, négociation d’ententes commerciales, sélection des produits, gestion des coûtants et des rabais volumes;
- Gérer la hiérarchie de produits multi-bannière pour les produits assignés. Mener à bien le processus de révision de catégories selon le calendrier soumis;
- Comprendre de manière exhaustive les tendances de marché et les besoins des consommateurs et entrepreneurs inhérents à sa catégorie;
- Suivre et atteindre des objectifs financiers fixés par la haute-direction en lien avec les produits qui lui sont assignés.
- Proposer de nouvelles opportunités et stratégies aux unités d’affaires dans le but d’accroitre les résultats globaux de l’entreprise;
- Être le point central de communication avec les fournisseurs;
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les marchandiseurs de chaque bannière pour s’assurer que les besoins de leurs client cibles sont rencontrés tout en assurant une expertise adaptée;
- Visiter sur une base régulière notre réseau de magasins ainsi que celui de la compétition afin d’être au fait de l’offre de produits et de leur impact sur les unités d’affaires.

**Les compétences que nous recherchons**
- Détenir un diplôme d’études universitaire, jumelé à une expérience de 8 à 10 ans en négociation et/ou mise en marché dans le domaine de la vente de détail et expérience de gestion;
- Posséder des habiletés pour la négociation
- Compétences analytiques supérieures, en particulier dans le domaine de l'analyse financière et stratégique ;
- Capacité à interagir efficacement avec les différents niveaux hiérarchiques de l’organisation ;
- Rxcellentes compétences en gestion du temps et bon sens de l’organisation ;
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément ;
- Expérience de l'analyse et de la communication de données afin d'identifier les problèmes, les tendances ou les exceptions afin d'améliorer les résultats et de trouver des solutions ;
- Habileté à identifier les problèmes et faire des recommandations et la mise en place de stratégies pour résoudre les problèmes;
- Capacité de travailler dans un environnement en changement avec un rythme rapide;
- Avoir de fortes aptitudes pour la communication et le travail d’équipe
- Bonnes connaissances avec la suite Microsoft Office, particulièrement avec Excel;
