The Le7ke Spa at the Quaaout Lodge is looking for Spa practitioners to utilize their skill and industry knowledge to provide extraordinary experiences for our clients.
This is an incredible opportunity for a resourceful and versatile spa service professional to assist with the growth and development of the spa, while building clientele.
**Job Purpose**:
Your main objective is to provide spa services to our clients which will help the Le7ke spa increase our product offering. We are currently seeking certified Estheticians, Massage and Body Work Practitioners.
This role is best suited to an ambitious, hard-working professional who can provide exceptional spa services in a very busy spa. Teamwork is a priority as well as comradery with the other professionals in our work environment.
- Must be Willing to work Weekends and some Statutory Holidays.
**Responsibilities**:
- Consistently offer proficient, friendly, caring, and genuine service.
- Perform massage, facials, body treatments and esthetic services in a comfortable and hygienic manner.
- Willingness to be trained in Le7Ke Spa protocol of services.
- Ability to manage constructive criticism and positive suggestions that benefit the running of the Le7Ke Spa standards and expectations.
- Ability to communicate with the Spa Director.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are being adhered to.
- Maintain an ample inventory of all products required to perform services. Advise Spa manager of inventory requirements
- Maintain the facility to always ensure optimum sanitary conditions.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of services and products offered.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Assist in the Spa however possible when not scheduled to perform spa services. This includes acting as spa receptionist, performing spa services, selling, and restocking retail skin care and hair care products. Topping up and refilling supplies in all treatment rooms. Cleaning, dusting, and whatever duties have been assigned to you.
- Answer all guest questions related to spa products and services, as well as resort amenities.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Minimum 1-year experience in a spa environment.
- Certified esthetician and/or massage training through a recognized institution.
- All professional licenses are to be current and valid.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required according to business needs.
- Strong knowledge of spa products and industry trends.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including the ability to stand for extended periods of time and repetitive lifting of 30-50lbs.
