Profile

The Project Manager, Business Projects will be responsible for managing the Engineering business activities, establishing, and implementing efficient business processes for Engineering across De Havilland to allow business needs to run efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work closely with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT
Chair Leadership DMM, manage and communicate yearly and ongoing calendar updates for Engineering team.
Organize and facilitate townhalls and employee communication.
Collate organization development, succession planning, training, coaching, and mentorship needs.
Produce Governance for leadership team & coordinate strategic planning activities.
Financial Activities including annual budget coordination, monthly accruals, supplier invoices, travel expenses, chargeback, etc.
Responsible for PR Creation, PR checklist, approvals, vendor set up, PO Communication with supplier, Invoicing activities in IFS
Business Process & Tools - Create, bridge, or collect key cross-functional processes (HR, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, etc.) for running the business across locations.
Maximize business tools to allow efficient data management and sharing of information
Create an environment of cross-functional collaboration
Some travel required

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience managing business activities and team communication
Experience in managing department budgets
Strong understanding of PO/PR process

**Skills**:
Able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as effective presentation skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
Attention to detail, process driven
Strong people skills, working across teams to achieve business goals
Ability to multitask
Excellent Financial acumen
