Toronto, Canada Vaughan Paving Ltd. Full time

**Vaughan Paving Ltd.** is looking for an asphalt labourer / bobcat operator to join our team in Toronto, ON.

**Job Scope**:

- Work in a crew responsible for smaller asphalt jobs, including patchs, smaller spreader work, concrete road base patchs, driveways etc.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a sense of urgency and flexibility to ever changing work conditions.
- Familiarity with all facets of the road construction process.
- Must be able to read a map, move from location to location, follow and respect supervisors instructions and work well in team environment.
- Must be able to operate a bobcat (case controls) well, and considered by others as a good operator.

**Requirements**:

- REQUIRED - 5 years bobcat operator experience. Able to remove asphalt using a bobcat. Able to scope asphalt out of a dump truck using a bobcat.
- REQUIRED - 3-5 years as asphalt labourer experience is required. Ability to show familiarity with ALL tasks associated with asphalt removal and replacement. (including but not limited to shovel, rough rake, finish rake, packing etc.)

Vaughan Paving Ltd. offers a competitive hourly rate along with a great working environment with close collaboration between departments. Once a 3 - 4 month probation period has expired and ended, membership to Local 183 will be arranged.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
