Low Voltage Technician

**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:
- **Planning and Design**: Reviewing building plans and blueprints to determine the layout and requirements for low voltage systems. This involves coordination with other trades to ensure proper placement of conduits, junction boxes, and other infrastructure.
- **Cable Installation**: Running and securing low voltage cables, such as Ethernet, coaxial, HDMI, or speaker wires, through walls, ceilings, and conduits according to the design specifications. This includes pulling cables through designated pathways and properly labeling them for future identification.
- **Mounting Devices**: Installing mounting brackets, backboxes, and enclosures for various low voltage devices, such as security cameras, intercom systems, thermostats, and speakers. Ensuring these are securely fastened and aligned according to the design plan.
- **Termination and Connection**: Terminating cables by attaching connectors, plugs, or jacks at their endpoints. This includes properly stripping, crimping, or soldering wires and ensuring proper polarity and connectivity. Connecting cables to patch panels, distribution blocks, or terminal blocks as required.
Pay: $21.59-$30.29 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
