Ground Crew

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Crew member to join the Sarginson's Tree Services Team. We are looking for motivated individuals looking to start their career in the tree care industry.
As a reputable tree company serving Durham Region, Kawartha Lakes, Toronto, and the GTA, we take pride in providing top-notch tree services. We are current with arboriculture standards and provide equipment to reduce heavy lifting and increase safety and efficiency on the job site. We are now looking to grow our team. We are looking for dedicated individuals with a shared vision of taking this company to the next level, providing clients with tree care and tree removal

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform various tasks to support tree removal and maintenance operations
- Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, wood chippers, machinery
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Assist arborists in climbing, pruning, and removal of trees.
- Safe chainsaw operations
- Chainsaw maintenance
- Wood Chipper safety
- Operations of skid steer
- Driving truck and trailer

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Tree Service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
