**Main Responsibilities are**:

- Responsible to the Accountable Executive for the safe and effective management of all the AMO’s activities.
- Maintain the standards of qualification for the position with respect to convictions and offenses.
- Ensure that all management functions which have been assigned pursuant to Subsection 573.04(5) of the CARs continue to be effective.
- Evaluate and implement new MRO capabilities as directed to support business objectives and diversification of the business across multiple shops.
- Engage and work as a team with shop site managers, engineering, finance, sales, and operations to determine priority and focus of new product and capability.
- Ensure that all personnel observe the AMO’s policies and codes of conduct.
- Occasional travel to support multiple shops as required.
- Ensure that sufficient personnel, equipment, tools, and supplies are available to meet operational demands.
- Ensure that all persons who are authorized to perform or supervise the performance of maintenance have been adequately trained with respect to the applicable regulations and Company procedures.
- Ensure that all information regarding any discrepancies identified during the course of any Quality Assurance function is provided to the Accountable Executive.
- Remain ultimately responsible for the effectiveness of the Quality Assurance program.
- Ensure that adequate maintenance records are maintained.
- Other duties as directed or assigned by the management team.

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Minimum of 6 years experience in Aviation industry.
- Required 3 years of quality assurance experience.
- TCCA AME, preferred.
- Knowledgeable in Canadian Aviation Regulations and SAE AS 9100.
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
- Extensive knowledge of operations management.
- Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to travel on a periodic basis to support other locations.

**Relationships**:
Directly reporting to Director of QA and Production this position will be responsible for addition, implementation and diversification of MRO activities across the MRO facilities operated by MHD Rockland. In this position, along with coordinating transfer and new capabilities, you will be expected to be a resource for shop management as well as technicians and will perform within the operations of the individual locations.
