- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess patients' visual acuity and overall eye health
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses based on patients' needs and preferences
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries, such as LASIK or cataract removal
- Monitor and manage chronic eye diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry practices and technologies

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and diseases
- Excellent clinical skills in performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions
- Proficient in prescribing and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-16 per week

**Salary**: $600.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
