Essential Requirements:

- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the custom fabrication industry.
- Extensive practical experience handling power tools and a thorough understanding of fabrication process techniques used with metals, plastics, and wood.
- Practical experience with paints, adhesives, and power tools.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills (English language).
- Solid background interpreting technical shop detail drawings and designs.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow through on specific instructions are critical.
- Accountability for workmanship with a commitment to high-quality assurance standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work.
- Personable - able to communicate positively and professionally with clients and co-workers.
- Ability to lift materials - 50 lbs or more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Interpret architectural and shop detail drawings.
- Cut, assemble, and weld steel and aluminum signs and other products using Tig and Mig welders, chemical adhesives, and other means.
- Fabricate signs and related items using various materials, including steel, aluminum, wood, composites, plastics, and other substrates.
- Operate shop machinery/tools to manufacture, assemble, and repair various products as required (e.g., miter saws, table saws, drills, sanders, grinders)
- Work with plastics, woods, composite materials and metals.
- Maintain adequate stock levels of hardware and consumable supplies. Report low inventory levels for re-ordering.
- Receive and store inventory deliveries, ensuring proper materials and quantities are received.
- Keep raw materials and assigned shop work zone clean and organized.
- Effectively troubleshoot and problem-solve during unanticipated situations.
- General shop organization and cleanup / regular maintenance of work-zone and fabrication tools.
- Assist on-site with fabrication and installations as required

Administrative and Coordination Responsibilities:

- Diligently follow up on tasks.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of jobs and fabrication processes.
- Stay focused and on task.
- Provide accurate information consistently.

**Salary**: $22-$25 per hour

Work Schedule: The typical workweek is Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm

Hiring Date: Immediate

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
