**About the Firm**:
Located in North York, Kazandji Law, a respected criminal law firm, is undergoing expansion. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Criminal Lawyer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growing Criminal Law practice.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in Criminal Law.
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Proficiency in legal software such as Clio and experience with Word and Outlook is preferred.

**What We're Looking For**:

- A lawyer at a Junior to Intermediate level.
- A professional with a keen interest in Criminal Law.
- Strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Independently manage case files.
- Draft and review a variety of legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, pre-trial briefs, and affidavits.
- Professional interaction and consultation with clients.
- Conduct examinations, mediations, motions, and other court procedures.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding and expertise in matters related to criminal defense, including charges, trials, and pleas.
- Frequent appearances before the Court of Justice and Superior Court.

**Licence/Certification**:

- Certificate of Standing (preferred)

**Work Location**: Hybrid remote in THORNHILL, ON

Pay: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Schedule:
