We are currently seeking an Intermediate Planner with a passion for planning and land development,
experience interpreting land use legislation and policy, working collaboratively with a variety of public and
private stakeholders and an ability to build strong professional relationships. The intermediate planner will
take a lead role in completing due diligence and feasibility analysis on properties throughout the GTHA and
to succeed and a desire to learn the business with a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities & Requirements
The Intermediate Planner will be responsible to provide comprehensive support and project management
for a variety of complex land use planning files and must have:

- Understanding of relevant provincial policies, legislation and guidelines;
- A strong understanding of local planning issues throughout the GTHA;
- Awareness of and ability to navigate the development approvals process in Ontario;
- Experience conducting comprehensive feasibility analysis and due diligence reviews of land;
- Ability to manage files independently with mínimal supervision;
- Ability to work collaboratively with other planners, consultants and stakeholders;
- Strong communication, analytic and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to speak in public settings (e.g. public meetings, Council)
- Experience within a land development firm or private consulting practice (preferred);
