**Infant & Toddler Educator**

- Work within a team to plan and deliver our program with enthusiasm
- Incorporate developmentally appropriate activities for children to learn in a fun and playful environment
- Be comfortable with the daily care of children including diapering, feeding, assisting with naps and guiding behaviours
- Work as part of the team to ensure the classroom is sanitized/cleaned daily to maintain a hygienic environment
- Prepare and maintain materials needed for daily activities
- Ensure our philosophy, policies and procedures are always adhered to
- Always maintain confidentiality
- Bond with each child and provide them with a nurturing and stable environment
- Prepare children socially and academically for transition into our 3-5 program
- Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for individual and cultural differences
- Be able to work any full-time shift (40 hours per week) between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. Shifts for Infant Toddler Educators are rotating between opening and closing.
- Proven previous experience in a licensed group centre as an ECE or ITE
- Flexible to work in different classrooms and different shifts as required by the needs of the programs

**Qualifications Required**:

- BC Licensed Infant Toddler Educator (ITE) Certificate
- BC Criminal Record Check cleared status
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Minimum of 2 Previous Work References
