**Unified Alloys **is one of the largest suppliers of specialty steel, alloy piping and instrumentation products in Canada. We are currently looking to add a **bilingua**l **WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR** to our **Warehouse **team with our **Dorval **operation.

**General Responsibilities**:The Warehouse Coordinator is part of the Warehouse Department. The role is responsible to communicate with the appropriate departments regarding time sensitive orders both incoming and outgoing, status of shipments and status of stock orders. The Warehouse Coordinator keeps the warehouse personnel up to date regarding workload, order allocation and previous day’s occurrences. They must work cooperatively with all personnel to ensure products ship in a timely fashion and all necessary paperwork is completed.

**Warehouse Coordinator Overview**:

- Attend scheduled meetings
- Where applicable, ensure warehouse systems are turned on in the morning and shut down in the evening.
- Provide scheduled updates of the warehouse operation to the warehouse staff and record updates in morning minutes.
- Scan MTR’s from incoming material (buyouts) into MetalTrace.
- Conduct Traceback on outgoing orders.
- Assist warehouse with the retrieval of missing MTR’s.
- Prioritize all orders for time of day and in town/out of town deliveries.
- Allocate work. Assign orders to personnel based on capability, efficiency, workload, experience, etc.
- Contact dispatchers for pick-up of customer ordered product in a timely manner.
- Print labels and complete paperwork and documentation in a timely fashion.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Department Head to ensure sufficient staff is available.
- Assist sales personnel to access information on the status of orders.
- Report any major concerns or actions to the Warehouse Department head.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Assist the Warehouse Department head in the development and implementation of new warehouse systems.
- Monitor the yard facility for speed and safe operations of vehicles.
- Ensure work area is clean and clutter free.
- Ensure all appropriate visitors sign-in / sign-out.
- Politely address PPE issues with visitors picking up or dropping off product.
- Serve as a leader to ensure Health and Safety issues and concerns are reported and addressed.
- Adhere to Quality, Health and Safety requirements, company policies, ISO standards and directives.
- Other duties as requested/directed.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**:

- Possess strong leadership qualities with effective people management skills.
- Strong knowledge of company procedures and processes including packaging, sorting, stacking, product placement/picking, etc.
- **Bilingual**. Written and verbal proficiency in French and English required.
- Able to lift heavy items (to prescribed maximum) and operate warehouse machines/tools (forklifts, saws, banders, man lifts, hand tools, power tools, recoilers, etc.)
- Stand/walk for duration of work hours.
- Able to work extended hours.
- Sound planning, prioritization, problem resolution and execution skills.
- Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), negotiation and phone skills.
- Capable of following written and verbal instructions and procedures.
- Able to read, analyze and interpret numbers and perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.).
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results driven attitude and demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $42,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Forklift operating: 1 year (preferred)
- warehouse: 2 years (preferred)
- metals, pipe, fittings, flanges and valves: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English and French (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift certification (preferred)
