We are growing and looking for a handy individual to join our team in the Building Maintenance Worker role. If you enjoy general repairs, tinkering with equipment, organizing & maintaining a clean space, then the CareKW Building Maintenance Worker position is for you.

**Job Description**:
Assist in maintaining several sites located in the Waterloo Region that require basic facility support. Sites are a range of office, inventory storage, clinical, and staff training spaces.

Position Overview
- Complete minor repairs and maintenance of CareKW sites
- Occasional installation projects
- Transport equipment and inventory pickups between sites, using maintenance vehicle.
- Troubleshoot service repairs for equipment
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with external contractors and service providers.
- Provide hands on project support to assemble & move equipment and furnishings.
- Travel between sites is required.

We are Seeking
- Experience in carpentry, drywall installation & repair and painting (interior & exterior).
- Problem solving capability.
- Willing to train on equipment (skyjack, pallet stacker etc).
- Highly reliable & takes initiative.
- Previous experience in handy work, building maintenance, warehouse environment and/or deliveries, considered strong asset.
- Personal tools preferred.

**Certifications**:

- Valid G Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract (required)
- Police Record with Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
- Fully vaccinated to enter healthcare settings (required)

Schedule
- Day-time shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Consistent part time hours
