**About the role**:
The Outbound Quality Inspector will be responsible for auditing automotive parts to ensure that parts meet the quality specifications as indicated on the engineering drawing. The Inspector will use Engineering and Quality Systems to validate, measure parts when required and document non-conformances.

**What you will be working on**:

- Validate parts against Engineering drawings and Quality Management system
- Record clear and accurate Non-Conformances
- Follow standards and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Participate in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives/projects and quality issue investigations
- Seek opportunities to improve, streamline and re-invent work processes
- Provide support to all Quality Departments when required
- Assist in other Quality Inspection as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**What are we looking for?**
- Post-secondary education in a related Quality field, certificate in Quality Assurance is an asset
- Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings and specifications.
- Experience using inspection measuring equipment (Calliper)
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in QC manufacturing inspection
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical parts (e.g. Control Arms, Chassis, Ball Joints)
- Ability to work in groups as well as independently with mínimal supervision.
- Able to lift items up to 20kg occasionally

**Physical demands and working conditions**:

- Standard warehouse conditions
- Straight afternoon shift
- May be required to lift up to 25lbs
